We took a whole period deciding what each scene of our film opening would be. We worked well together drawing and writing out the storyboard, and we are excited to start filming and editing our film.
Rise- I really liked how this film opening was based on sports. I also liked the part where the music went along with the boy dribbling the ball. Also when it got louder when it switched to that player is a cool concept, but maybe if they had the music gradually get louder instead of cutting straight to the loud music would have made it flow more. Offline- This was a pretty average horror movie opening. The girl being in the cage was pretty creative though. I thought the title could have been a little more creative as well. Dear Lover- This was a cool concept for a film opening. How it went to the end so that the movie would be a flashback of how they had gotten into that position. Also the music was soft and made it enjoyable to watch. Dare to Thrill- This was my favorite film opening by far. The music with the car was so energetic and lively. At the end of the film they open the trunk to see something inside. The camera angle coming from inside the trunk makes that scene ...
Simultaneity: These clips are an example of simultaneity. It shows two events happening at the same time. They show the car returning to the remote while Dash, Violet, and Frozone fight the hypnotized supers. Leitmotif: This is an example of leitmotif. The same music is used whenever a fight between good and evil is happening. Contrast: These shots are an example of contrast. They show two opposite things. One is the supers beingevkl, and on is the supers saving the city. This is because of the goggles they have on. Symbolism: This is an example of symbolism. It cuts from the door of the interrogation room to a back of the car with the incredibles inside. The door is the thing that is the same in both shots. It is closing in the room and the back of the car. Parallelism: The two shots are parallel. They both show the supers after saving the city from the bad guys, but in the second one the town approves of it and in th...
